Effective waste management entails understanding what type of trash can be recycled or disposed of and then following through with specialized methods to remove them. Also, the immediate removal of trash is followed by the proper disinfection of the venue in a suit with the appropriate cleaning standards.
Types of Household Waste
In this article, we shall discuss the different types of waste that can accumulate on a day-to-day basis in the household. It is important to understand the nature of each of these waste categories to determine the appropriate method of disposal.
[1] Liquid Waste :-
Liquid Waste is among the most common household wastes. These are produced in bulk amounts in industries related to painting, water, food etc. The rubbish liquid is usually comprised of detergents, stagnant water, sewage, and rainwater which are all categorized under two broad types - point and non-point waste liquid. Waste liquids originating from the manufacturing industry are considered point waste while naturally occurring liquid waste is known as non-point waste.
[2] Solid Trash :-
The solid waste material collected from households such as cardboard, metal or plastic containers is all considered solid waste. This type of waste is produced in large amounts in both domestic and commercial settings and is divided into 4 broad categories;
Plastic:- Plastic is a type of material that is highly versatile and has several applications across industries like hospitals, schools, households and manufacturing. Since they are not bio-degradable, plastics are mostly always recycled. It is crucial not to mix this waste product with bio-degradable waste as it might risk contaminating the plastic material.
Paper:- Paper is widely used in products like cardboard, newspapers, packaging material and so on. Paper is also recycled and is not placed in the same bin as biodegradables. Paper can be reutilized in a lot of things such as printing, wrapping etc.
Tin and Other Metal:- Metal is an extremely durable, reusable and recyclable material. It is available in dozens of different forms throughout the household. Recycling or disposing of metal involves the use of highly specialized techniques. Small chunks of metal can be quite hazardous when not removed.
Ceramic and:- Glass: Broken pieces of ceramic and glass material can be recycled pretty easily but can be hazardous for both children and adults if simply kept lying around. This material is also available in large amounts throughout the household such as in bottles, windows, and cutlery.
[3] Organic Waste :-
Often considered general household waste, organic waste can originate from a lot of common household things such as garden waste, food waste, manure etc. This type of waste is very useful in producing methane in landfills and can be easily disposed of in a green waste bin.
[4] Recyclables :-
This is probably the most useful category among waste materials although it requires careful consideration when recycling. Waste agents like metals, glasses, wood, paper and organic material can all be recycled and used again. These waste products must not be thrown in landfills or near water dumps but rather collected for recycling.
[5] Hazardous Waste :-
The waste material which is poisonous, flammable, noxious or considered radioactive falls under the category of hazardous waste. This type of waste is probably the most harmful and must be immediately disposed of using same-day trash removal services in Sydney, especially in household scenarios.

Conclusion
It should be taken to heart that all types of trash can be detrimental to the environment if not properly disposed of. The members of a household may not have all the prerequisite knowledge and experience to manage their waste successfully. Hiring a professional domestic waste removal service in Sydney can make up for that gap and save the homeowner a lot of time and money.
